Best Clubperson

The Best Clubperson Award is a prestigious recognition bestowed upon an individual within GMBC who exemplifies outstanding dedication, sportsmanship, and contribution to the overall spirit and ethos of the club. Between it's inception in 1980 and 2016, the award was known as the Ron Edebone Award. From 2017 onwards, the award was renamed to the Graeme Kent Award. Recipients of the Best Clubperson Award are individuals who consistently demonstrate qualities such as leadership, teamwork, integrity, and a selfless commitment to the betterment of the club. The award is a symbol of honour and appreciation for their exceptional contributions to the clubs success.

Lewis Thorpe Award

The Lewis Thorpe Award, named in honour of Lewis Thorpe, is a prestigious recognition presented to the best junior player who demonstrates exceptional skill and performance while playing at a senior level within the club. This award celebrates the remarkable talent, dedication, and maturity exhibited by a young athlete who successfully transitions from the junior ranks to competing against seasoned senior players.
