GMBC A4 Grade outsted University of Melbourne A4 10-5 on Saturday.

University of Melbourne A4 jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Lewis Barnaby singled, scoring one run, and James Dann doubled, scoring two runs.

A single by Barnaby extended the University of Melbourne A4 lead to 4-2 in the top of the third inning.

GMBC A4 Grade captured the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the third when Ryan Jenkins homered to left field, scoring two runs, and Joel Ramsay singled, scoring one run.

Barnaby doubled down the left field line, which helped University of Melbourne A4 tie the game at five in the top of the fifth.

GMBC A4 Grade flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 10-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Jol Duffell that drove in two.

Jenkins opened the game for GMBC A4 Grade. The starter gave up eight hits and five runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking none. Bart Breen stepped on the bump first for University of Melbourne A4. The hurler gave up nine hits and five runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out none and walking one.

GMBC A4 Grade amassed 13 hits in the game. GMBC A4 Grade's Ramsay, the number seven hitter, led GMBC A4 Grade with three hits in three at bats. Jenkins, Duffell, Ramsay, and Oliver Allen each drove in two runs for GMBC A4 Grade. Joel Roberts and Wayne Roberts each collected multiple hits for GMBC A4 Grade. Alex Deakes stole two bases. GMBC A4 Grade stole four bases in the game.

Barnaby drove the middle of the lineup, leading University of Melbourne A4 with three runs batted in. The catcher went 3-for-3 on the day. Alex Okula stole two bases. University of Melbourne A4 ran wild on the base paths, piling up five stolen bases for the game.
