What a way to finish an incredible winter season of baseball!
Today, we had FOUR Monty junior teams competing in their Grand Finals… and FOUR teams walked away as CHAMPIONS!
Four Grand Final wins. Four flags. One incredibly proud club.
But beyond the flags and the wins, what makes today so special is seeing just how much these young players have grown throughout the season. They have challenged themselves, supported each other, learned from the tough moments and celebrated the good ones.
They showed true grit, played with heart, never gave up and gave absolutely everything they had.
To our amazing coaches, managers, volunteers and families — thank you. The time, energy, encouragement and countless hours you put in each week make such a difference to our juniors. These achievements are a reflection of the incredible support surrounding our players.
And a huge THANK YOU to the MWBL and all the clubs we have shared the competition with this winter.
Baseball is so much more than what happens on the diamond. It is a sport that brings people together, creates friendships, builds confidence and gives our kids memories they will carry with them for years to come. We are so grateful to every club, coach, player, umpire, volunteer and family who made this season so special.
Today, we celebrate our juniors. We celebrate their hard work, their development, their friendships and everything they have achieved.
